It's important to engage in trade and relations with these countries to help them improve their lifestyle. Bringing major sporting events to these places can only help.

There seems little point in attempting to ban certain countries from hosting major sporting events when almost any country can be accused of some violation of Human Rights, being home to international terrorist organisations, having cities blighted by riots, having repressive governments, either extreme right or extreme left, racism, religious intolerance, etc. etc...

Can anybody name a country that has not been affected in this way?
